Job Description

We are looking for a full time Dental Nurse to work between our Lymington and Chandlers Ford practice. We are a family run mixed dental practice which has recently expanded into a 5 chair surgery and we are looking for someone with the skillset to enhance our patient's experience. We will offer full training, so dental experience is not essential, but the correct attitude is vital.

Dental Nurse role and responsibilities

Chair side assistance to the dentist Maintaining a clean and safe environment Decontamination of all dental instruments Supporting the Lead Dental Nurse and admin team with the smooth running of the practice Making patients aware of dental services and offers Liaising with other dental professionals, referral practices and laboratories Accessing sensitive information whilst maintaining patient confidentiality

Your skills and experience

Ability to keep calm and professional in a fast paced environment The ability to be organise, multitask and be able to work under-pressure Personable, positive and enthusiastic with a great patient focus Efficient with Microsoft Word & Excel Previous knowledge of SOE/Exact computer system would be advantageous. Strong communication and organisation skills

To be considered for the role the ideal candidate will have previous experience of working in a dental practice. A DBS check and references will be required upon commencing employment.

Hours of work are Monday to Saturday (one day off in the week) 8.15am - 5.30pm with a 1 hour lunch break between 1-2pm.

We offer a very competitive salary based on experience and there is no bar for the right candidate.
