Overview

We are a fabulous dental practice in the beautiful village of Croxley Green seeking two part-time dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurses to join our friendly team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care while assisting the dental team in delivering high-quality dental services. This position requires a strong commitment to maintaining patient comfort and safety, as well as ensuring the smooth operation of the dental practice.

Duties

Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, answering their questions, and addressing any concerns they may have. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure that all documentation is completed in accordance with practice protocols. Sterilise instruments and maintain cleanliness in the treatment areas to adhere to health and safety regulations. Collaborate with the dental team to ensure effective communication and a positive working environment.

Skills

Strong patient care skills, demonstrating empathy and understanding towards patients' needs. Proficiency in English, both written and verbal, to communicate effectively with patients and colleagues. A background in dental nursing or relevant qualifications that support your role as a Dental Nurse or a trainee willing to complete the required 2 year training programme towards the NEBDN Diploma. Basic IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems. Excellent communication skills to interact confidently with patients, families, and team members. Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently while maintaining attention to detail.
