An exciting opportunity for a Dental Nurse to join our friendly and well-established dental practice. Pershore Smiles is a fully private, independent, family-run dental practice, providing high-quality dental care to our patients.

We are growing and looking for an enthusiastic, versatile and committed Qualified or Trainee Dental Nurse to join our dynamic team.

The successful candidate is expected to be working across 2 Dental Practice sites (Pershore and Tewkesbury).

Schedule:

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday 8:30am - 5:30pm

Friday 7:45am - 5pm

Future career advancement, such as in-house treatment co-ordination, dental implants, dental radiography, impression taking and Oral Health Education training can be provided for the right candidate.

Salary from 8 - 13 per hour (negotiable) depending on qualification and experience.

Duties

- Assist the dentists and hygienist during patient examinations and treatments
- Maintain a clean and sterile environment for treatments
- Prepare dental materials and instruments for procedures
- Provide support and reassurance to patients during their visits
- Process dental X-rays and maintain patient records accurately
- Manage infection control within the practice

- Maintaining stock levels within the surgery

- Reception cover, arranging appointments if required (in-house computer system training will be provided)

- Maintaining and updating patient records

Skills

- Proficient in patient care with a caring and empathetic approach
- Basic IT skills for managing digital records
- Excellent communication skills to interact with patients and colleagues effectively
- Strong organisational abilities to handle multiple tasks efficiently
- Fluent in English to communicate clearly with patients and team members

Pay: 8.00-13.00 per hour
