We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Dental Nurse to join our dynamic dental practice. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care, assisting the dental team, and ensuring a smooth workflow within the clinic. This position requires strong communication and organisational skills, as well as a commitment to maintaining high standards of hygiene and patient comfort.

Part time position available 2-3 days per week. Monday and Thursday essential

Qualified dental nurses rate: 15 per hour

Trainee dental nurse rate: 12.21 per hour

Responsibilities

Assist dentists during various dental procedures, ensuring all necessary instruments and materials are prepared and available. Provide excellent patient care by reassuring patients, answering questions, and addressing concerns before, during, and after treatments. Maintain accurate patient records and ensure all documentation is completed in a timely manner. Manage appointment scheduling and follow-up calls to ensure patient satisfaction and adherence to treatment plans. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, including infection control protocols. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dental surgery and equipment. Collaborate effectively with the dental team to enhance the overall patient experience.

Requirements

Qualified Dental Nurse with relevant certifications or training. Trainees will be considered Strong communication skills in English, both written and verbal, to interact effectively with patients and team members. Excellent organisational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Proficient IT skills for managing patient records and scheduling systems. A compassionate approach to patient care with an emphasis on comfort and empathy. Ability to work well in a team as well as independently when required.
