Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Administrator to join our team in Sherburn in Elmet. Based in our office, To provide administrative and documentation support to the Quality and Technical teams, ensuring all quality records, attribute sheets, and compliance documents are accurately maintained and up to date. The role helps to ensure the site meets food safety, customer, and legal requirements.
Responsibilities
Maintain and update quality attribute sheets, product specifications, and other quality documentation.
File, log, and archive quality records (both paper-based and digital) in line with site procedures.
Support the Quality and Technical teams with audits by preparing and organising required documentation.
Assist in data entry for quality checks, CCP monitoring, traceability, and verification records.
Ensure completed paperwork from production is checked for accuracy and completeness.
Communicate with production and quality teams to resolve missing or incorrect documentation.
Support internal audits and traceability exercises when required.
Help maintain document control systems, ensuring all versions are current and approved.
Contribute to continuous improvement of quality administration processes.
Follow all site health, safety, food safety, and hygiene policies at all times.
Qualifications
Previous experience in an administrative role within food manufacturing or a similar industry (preferred).
Good understanding of quality systems and food safety principles (training can be provided).
Strong attention to detail and accuracy when handling documentation.
Good IT skills, especially in Microsoft Excel, Word, and data entry systems.
Strong communication and organisational skills.
Ability to prioritise workload and work effectively under pressure.
Positive attitude and ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
Working hours
: Monday - Friday 7am to 4pm
