Job Description

This role involves collection of functional requirements from system users and preparation of business IT Quality Analyst: Role Overview

Primary Responsibilities



Requirement Analysis

: Understand and analyze project requirements and technical specifications.

Test Planning

: Develop test strategies, test plans, and detailed test cases.

Testing Execution

: Perform manual and/or automated testing. Types of testing may include functional, regression, integration, performance, and user acceptance testing.

Defect Management

: Identify, log, and track bugs using tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps. Work with developers to resolve defects.

Documentation

: Maintain clear records of test cases, results, issues, and resolutions.

Process Improvement

: Suggest improvements to development and testing processes.

Collaboration

: Work closely with developers, business analysts, and other stakeholders.

Key Tools and Technologies



Test Management

: TestRail, Zephyr, qTest

Bug Tracking

: JIRA, Bugzilla, Azure DevOps

Automation Tools

(if applicable): Selenium, Postman, QTP/UFT, Cypress, JMeter

CI/CD

: Jenkins, Git, GitHub/GitLab

Scripting

: Basic knowledge of scripting (Python, JavaScript, etc.) is a plus

Skills Required



Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Attention to detail Knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and QA methodologies Communication and collaboration skills Ability to work independently and in a team Basic understanding of databases and SQL

Certifications (Optional but Beneficial)



ISTQB (International Software Testing Qualifications Board) Certified Software Quality Analyst (CSQA) Agile Testing Certification (e.g., from Scrum Alliance)
Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: 31,000.00-37,500.00 per year
