Being the site champion of overall compliance to systems, quality improvement and meeting and exceeding customer's expectations for quality performance To act as the company's primary Quality liaison, competently and professionally representing Huhtamaki with customers, suppliers and external bodies as required. Raise awareness and understanding of "Total Quality" and compliance requirements through all areas of the business and to continue the drive to embed continuous improvement in the business. Lead the WCO Quality Pillar. Lead, motivate and develop the Quality and Compliance team be monitoring staff performance and developing the team. Maintain and improve the key systems that form the Integrated Management System (IMS) that ensures compliance to the company's formal certifications and customer standards. Ensure that Huhtamaki is sufficiently prepared to seamlessly transition to new standards. Ensure that all key activities within the IMS such as data analysis, report generation, quality investigations, audit action follow-up are completed to a high standard and on time. Monitor performance of the business in Quality and Compliance by reporting on KPI's and identifying trends. Analyse customer complaint data to identify trends and opportunities for targeted quality improvement action plans. Ensure that corrective & preventative actions, and proactive improvements to testing, procedures and other protocols, is embedded as a key driver of quality improvement Lead the site HARA team and ensure HARA is embedded fully at an operational level across the business, delivering improvements in product security and safety. Work closely with the Technical Manager to ensure that new product launches meet product safety and manufactured quality expectations and are introduced into production in a streamlined efficient manner. Identify compliance training needs and ensure quality and compliance training of all staff is adequate for the role carried out. To carry out training sessions, review induction material etc as required Communicate key issues to a wider audience by delivering inductions, training sessions etc Be involved in harmonization & improvement activities and project work. Any other duties as and when required.
