Job Description

We are seeking to appoint a Quality and Compliance Manager to join our vibrant and established team at the Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute at an exciting time of continued growth and development.

About the role



The successful candidate will join our experienced, committed and collaborative team responsible for delivering high quality psychotherapy and counselling training. They will be responsible for the oversight and management of academic quality, compliance and accreditation processes. Hence ensuring that SPTI meets all regulatory and partnership standards and maintains its reputation for excellence across all training provision, including our BSc and MSc degree programmes and SEG regulated foundation level programmes.

Contract:

2 year fixed term (with review for continuation)

FTE:

0.8 (30 hours per week)

Salary Band:

45,000- 52,000 FTE ( pro rata 36,000-41,600)

Location:

SPTI Nottingham City Centre premises

Key responsibilities include :



Quality Assurance of all programmes and related business processes

Regulatory Compliance with our external partners including University of Staffordshire, PSRBs and OfS

Enhancement and oversight of student voice and engagement and reporting to relevant committees

Line management and coordination of recruitment and admissions staff and processes

Cross-Institutional Collaboration to support and enhance academic processes, contribute to data returns and analysis of data and to act as primary QA contact for external partners

Quality and Compliance management is a key appointment and is fundamental to the continued growth and success of our business. We are seeking to appoint a manager who has recognised training and significant experience of managing quality and compliance processes in a medium sized business. Experience should ideally be in the HE sector, or in a closely related sector with demonstrable understanding of academic and regulatory processes. An understanding of the key role of data in higher education regulation and standards is essential. Applicants should be highly motivated, have excellent organisational and report writing skills, be highly literate and numerate with excellent attention to detail. The ability to develop and maintain excellent relationships with all stakeholders is also essential to success in this highly collaborative role.

About You:



You should have the following skills knowledge experience and personal qualities:

Qualifications and training in quality and compliance management

Proven experience as a quality and compliance manager, ideally in HE, FE or a psychotherapy and counselling training provider

Proven leadership and collaborative experience and skills

Highly numerate with excellent IT skills

Proven ability to analyse data and to write and present reports to a high level

Highly motivated, able to use your own initiative and have a detailed and positive approach to quality assurance

Have effective communication skills, a warm relational approach and excellent people skills

Personal qualities of robustness, integrity, openness and honesty and being able to respond to and lead change and challenge with sensitivity and confidence.
