Quality & Process Technician, Pennybridge - Temporary 6-9 Months




We require a highly motivated Quality & Process Technician to join a busy team in a fast-paced environment. This integral and dynamic role as part of the technical team is based primarily in Production and Processing ensuring that all testing, checks and processes are accurate and conducted in a timely manner. This role will be responsible for completing and assisting with Verification, Auditing and Validation activities from a Technical, Quality and Environmental perspective, and interdepartmental liaison as part of maintaining Quality Assurance throughout the dairy.


Reporting to the Quality & Technical Manager, your key responsibilities will include:

Verification of Laboratory, Process Data and CCP checking, and maintenance of Traceability integrity. Process Monitoring / CIP Review and Chemical Usage control. Standardisation Monitoring and Reporting Quality System and Process Auditing. Microbiological Trending and Response. Coordination and Maintenance of Testing Schedule both Internally and Externally. Validation of Control processes for activities such as Allergen. Collaboration in development and implementation of new Work Instructions and Processing such as Cleaning Instruction Cards. Assistance with Production Laboratory duties and fully trained in all activities. Any other projects or tasks required by the business and technical management team.




It is essential that you have experience working in a Quality Assurance role in the food industry and a knowledge of food safety and HACCP, with an ability to prioritise and meet deadlines while working independently, and a resilient attitude to standards. The working hours for the role will be Monday to Friday with flexibility to support audits etc.
