Quality Assessor

Location:

Pierson Road, The Enterprise Campus, Alconbury Weald, Huntingdon, PE28 4YA

Contract:

Sunday-Wednesday, dayshift only (average 38.5 hours per week)

Hours:

7:00am - 7:00pm

Pay:

27,000 per year / 13.48 per hour (monthly paid)

Overtime:

16.85 per hour

Benefits:

MM Flowers is looking for a meticulous and collaborative

Quality Assessor

to join our Quality Control team. This is a key position within the business, ensuring the quality of raw materials and finished goods meets our high standards and customer specifications. The role requires strong attention to detail, data accuracy, and the ability to work closely with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities

Conduct accurate quality assessments of raw materials and finished goods Use data and inspection processes to support suppliers in maintaining product standards Complete photographic documentation and clear reporting to internal teams and suppliers Assess product conformance against specifications, packaging accuracy, label detail, and construction Maintain up-to-date records, quality logs, and follow up with necessary corrective actions Support the resolution of non-conformances, identifying trends and root causes Communicate quality concerns with operational teams and ensure rework where required Assist in managing the status of materials (Use/Hold/Dispose) and collaborate with Procurement and Technical teams Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to reduce claims and improve output quality

What We're Looking For

Experience in quality assurance or quality control in a manufacturing or production environment Confident in using data, reporting systems, and inspection tools High attention to detail and commitment to maintaining standards Strong communication and teamwork skills across multiple departments Able to work independently to deadlines and manage multiple assessments
