Job Description

We are currently recruiting for a Quality Assurance Administrator to join our Quality Assurance Team, as part of the Quality department. The role will involve providing administrative support to the Quality Control team, maintaining compliance and conformity with ISO:9001, British and European Standards and creating, compiling and controlling all documentation to protect the company and assure customers of product quality

Hours of work:



Standard hours are Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 17:00 (40hrs) per week.

Job responsibilities:



To comply with the Health & Safety management system as laid down in OHSAS: 18001 and the Company rules at all times. Contribute to the maintenance of the company's Integrated Management System (IMS) in maintaining the quality accreditation. Carry out internal audits. Provide administrative support to the Quality Control team including scorecards, schedules and check sheets. Control suppliers' certificates, declarations of performance (DOPs) and company's policies if they're up to date. Create quality test plans/visual acceptance standards and be involved in customer meetings to help manage customer expectations. Communicate relevant parts of the plan to the Quality Control team and form a plan for the document pack's contents. Audit the quality plan to ensure it is being adhered to and it captures all that is being done. Compile accurate quality packs for release to customer to agreed deadlines. Flag up any missing information or mistakes to the Quality Assurance Coordinator. Maintain the internal software system with live information and releases to customer area with precision to avoid any wrong information being leaked. Maintain and contribute to the ticket/NCR system to ensure effective root cause analysis has been done and relevant corrective actions have been implemented. Provide management with data and reports on performance of teams and projects. Contribute to problem solving and developing and implementing appropriate solutions. Work effectively as part of the quality team and build positive working relationships with operations and office personnel whilst adhering to the quality system. Any other duties, within reason and capability, as agreed through consultation with the Quality Assurance Coordinator or Quality Manager.

Essential Criteria:



Strong attention to detail and accuracy of work.

IT skills including the use of Microsoft Word and Excel.

Thoroughness to ensure products meet required specifications.

Capability to work in a busy office environment.

Good communication, negotiation, and organisational skills.

Strong collaborative and teamwork skills.

Desirable Criteria:



Experience in quality assurance or a similar role within manufacturing or construction

Familiarity with ISO 9001, 14001, and 45001 standards and compliance requirements.

Experience working within an IMS-certified environment.

Experience using document management systems and ticketing systems for root cause analysis.

Familiarity with industry regulations and standards in manufacturing and construction.

Ability to interpret technical drawings.
