Based in Glenrothes, Fife, dusal, a family-run, luxury bedding company, manufactures and supplies premium duvets, pillows and mattress toppers to high-end retail and eCustomers as well as to distributors into the luxury hotel market. We pride ourselves on our product quality, excellent customer service, short lead times and flexibility in volume and packaging.

We are looking to enhance our team with the addition of a Quality Assurance Coordinator, who, as part of the management team, will have responsibility for the day-to-day product quality and compliance function within the business. The role will also involve travel to our sister company in Kirkby Stephen, Cumbria.

The role is broad and encompasses establishing in-house product quality and safety standards and ensuring that these are achieved internally within production; managing the product testing regimes to ensure legal and regulatory compliance and to meet customer requirements; managing and coordinating the complaints process including analysis and measurement; and actively driving and supporting ISO9001 targets.

In order to be successful in this role, our ideal candidate should have experience of working in a quality assurance environment and be able to demonstrate that they are able to interpret and act on compliance and legal requirements; possess the ability to understand what is required internally to ensure that the products made meet all external expectations and requirements; demonstrate that they can operate independently and determine priorities; possess strong critical thinking and communication skills; and be a good team player who is able to form strong professional relationships with other team members, customers and external third parties.
