Quality Assurance Engineer

Purpose of Job:


To provide independent oversight, advice and assistance to all areas of the Aerospace business to allow us to deliver our objectives to our Customers efficiently while meeting all of our external and internal requirements.





Activities:


Planning, conducting and carrying out all associated activities related to the Company internal audit programme, in order to provide assurance that the management system is in compliance with all relevant quality standards, regulatory and customer requirements. Conducting product, process, capability, compliance or supplier audits as required. Raising and closing non-conformances, including root cause confirmation, verification and effectiveness activities as required. Supporting non-conformance owners through facilitation and deployment of problem solving tools and skills. Liaising with customer representatives and escorting external auditors. Reviewing applications for the granting and renewal of personnel authorisations prior to submission to the QA Manager. Conducting Quality and Event Investigations when suitably trained. Delivering QA Induction and other QA presentations as required. Providing support and guidance on quality related matters across the business as required. Perform other duties as defined by the QA Manager.
Qualifications/Experience:


Recognised internal audit training or sufficient auditing experience. Minimum of 2 years in a QA or Engineering & Manufacturing/ MRO related role. Working knowledge of AS9100, AS9110 or ISO 9001. Working knowledge of relevant aviation regulations.
