Overview:
Quality Assurance Manager
Humdinger, Heckington



We're seeking a Quality Assurance Manager to take the lead for all aspects of quality management within our nut snacking factory. The QA Manager will provide quality management & leadership to team members across all departments providing knowledge, experience, motivation, support and advice to deliver line, area & site objectives.



Position type: Full time, permanent
Hours: 37.5 per week
Shift Pattern: Monday - Friday, 08:00 - 16:00

Closing Date: Friday 2nd January 2025
Responsibilities:
Ensure compliance with BRC and major retailer standards Support the Technical Manager in managing and developing a team including Quality, Hygiene, and Technical staff Support and manage allergen management, product testing, and audit readiness Investigate and respond to customer complaints. Keep the Quality Management System (QMS) up to date and compliant and update and maintain hygiene and factory documentation. Support the Technical Manager to manage budgets and plan resources to meet financial targets. Build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders Drive a culture of best practice, innovation, and operational excellence

Qualifications:
Proven experience in a technical leadership role within food manufacturing Strong knowledge of food safety systems and regulatory compliance Level 3 HACCP and Food Safety qualifications Experience working with UK major retailers (e.g., Tesco, M&S, Sainsbury's) A collaborative, resilient leader with excellent communication skills Excellent working knowledge of Auditing & CI tools / techniques
