We are seeking a highly motivated
Quality Assurance Manager
to join our dedicated Technical team. This is a hands-on leadership role where you'll be responsible for driving a culture of quality, safety, and continuous improvement across the site.
You'll not only ensure compliance with food safety and legal standards but also inspire, develop, and empower your team to deliver excellence every day.
Key Responsibilities
Lead, manage, and develop
the QA team, ensuring high performance, engagement, and accountability.
Foster a
positive team culture
that promotes ownership, collaboration, and continuous learning.
Oversee recruitment, onboarding, and ongoing training for QA staff.
Conduct regular 1:1s, performance reviews, and support career development plans.
Act as a key liaison between QA, production, and technical teams to ensure alignment on quality goals.
Implement and maintain HACCP and quality management systems.
Manage internal and external audits, ensuring timely resolution of non-conformances.
Investigate quality issues and customer complaints, driving root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Champion GMP improvements and lead initiatives to enhance site-wide quality culture.
What We're Looking For
Proven experience in a
QA leadership role
within food manufacturing.
Strong people management skills with a track record of building and motivating high-performing teams.
Degree in Food Science or related field.
Level 3+ in HACCP, Food Safety, or equivalent.
Solid understanding of meat or beef production processes.
Familiarity with BRCGS, food legislation, and hygiene standards.
Excellent communication, coaching, and problem-solving abilities.
A proactive, hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
