Job Description

The Assurance Midwife will be responsible for leading and facilitating a programme to enable the delivery of the current National workstreams within Maternity Services including The Three Year Delivery plan, CNST Maternity Incentive Scheme and Saving Babies Lives Care Bundle within SFT which encompasses all six elements of the care bundle. This includes the development, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and audit of any guidance documents relating to The Three Year Delivery plan, CNST Maternity Incentive Scheme SBLCBv3 ensuring that they meet current practice and professional regulations.



Working in close collaboration with the MDT and wider Quality and Safety team within Maternity and neonatal Services, participating in the promotion of clinical governance, standard setting, implementation and audit, the development of clinical guidelines and, harmonisation of the Governance process across the LMNS.



Facilitate the development, implementation, monitoring, evaluation and audit of any guidance documents relating to Assurance work in Maternity and Neonatal Services ensuring that they meet current practice and professional regulations.

To contribute to the wider assurance requirements around CNST and ensure that evidence meets the requirements for NHS Resolution, CQC, HSIB, NHSI and other national standards
