Your Responsibilities

  • To provide QA oversight of the end-to-end product manufacturing process, ensuring compliance with pharmaceutical GMP, and Food and Feed quality standards; managing the shop floor quality team and batch release process,
  • Shop Floor Leadership: Lead and mentor the shop floor QA operations team, fostering a culture of accountability and a commitment to quality.
  • Technical Expertise: Provide technical expertise and guidance to the QA operations and production teams, addressing complex quality-related issues and challenges.
  • GMP compliance: Ensure adherence to EU/UK GMP regulations, and Food and Feed safety standards throughout the manufacturing process.
  • Batch Release: Manage and oversee the batch release process, including reviewing batch records, ensuring compliance, and approving product releases.
  • Non-conformances and CAPA: Support investigations and root cause analysis of deviations and non-conformances, driving corrective and preventive actions to prevent recurrence.
  • Annual Product Quality Review: Manage the product quality review process to ensure all GMP products are in compliance with regulatory requirements, quality trends and issues are identified and continuous improvement is promoted.
  • Document review and approval: Review and approve technical and quality documentation to support manufacturing and testing processes such as validation documentation, specifications, SOPs etc.
  • Quality Metrics: Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure and report on quality performance.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with other departments, such as production, technical, and regulatory affairs, to optimise QA processes and outcomes.
  • Training and Development: Provide training and development opportunities for the QA operations team to enhance their skills and knowledge.
  • Continuous Improvement: Drive a culture of continuous improvement in quality assurance practices and procedures.


Your Profile
  • Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s degree in a related field
  • Minimum 4 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in quality assurance or quality control in a pharmaceutical manufacturing environment, with 2 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in a supervisory or management role
  • In-depth knowledge of EU/UK GMP regulations and guidelines.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Excellent leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement.
  • Proven track record of maintaining high-quality standards in a GMP environment.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
