Monitor incoming raw materials, inspect raw material and ensure the product complies with raw material specifications;
Ensure temperature of incoming product, product during processing and the temperature before the product is despatched is recorded in accordance with customer specifications;
To ensure all relevant microbiological swab testing, sniff testing and any other relevant tests are conducted and recorded according to company standard;
To ensure all aspects of customer specifications are adhered to and ensure all packaging materials are correct and fit for purpose;
Ensure all necessary daily records and paperwork is completed in a timely manner as required by the company;
Ensure Customers' audit protocol is strictly adhered to throughout the site and maintain compliance with Company policies and auditing standards;
To ensure samples are taken at specified intervals and adhere to standards for laboratory testing.
Candidate Requirements:
A minimum of two years experience in a similar role;
Good time management and organisational skills;
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills;
Experience of customer audits;
Highly organised, with efficient time management and ability to prioritise workload.
Preference will be given to candidates who have:
Food Science/Food Technology qualification;
Knowledge of quality management systems/food safety;
Experience of leading customer audits.
