The opportunity:
The role is diverse and a successful candidate will work in a number of different areas within the business:
Work closely with different teams across the business to develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives, ensuring quality standards are met
Generate comprehensive and accurate product specification data sheets
Maintaining Technical Files and Factory Audits
Communication with overseas suppliers to ensure they comply with Pacific's requirements
Artwork and Pre-shipment inspection checks
Supporting Goods-in operatives during product inspection
Communicating goods-in findings with suppliers and Sales team
Support customer service team with product related enquiries
Candidate requirements:
Previous experience in a similar environment, together with a knowledge of REACH, RoHS, Timber Regulations, WEE and general product compliance would be ideal
Ability to develop and retain excellent product knowledge
Attention to detail
Ability to multi task, prioritise, and work under pressure to meet deadlines
Effective team player with the confidence to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to work on own initiative
Excellent communication skills
Experience in administrative support
IT skills - MS office (inc. Excel, Outlook, Word) and easily adapt to new software
General administrative duties
Education
: A-level or equivalent - essential, BA/BSc - preferred
