About the Role: -
Following a period of successful growth, we are actively seeking an additional quality team member to lead on implementation of our quality approach in England. As a quality assurer in England, you will be a key contact on all matters relating to Quality and Staff Development. Through driving a positive culture, we continue to focus on Quality and Safeguarding. In this key role you will take a proactive approach to right first-time quality to promote growth and enhance the reputation of the business through exceptional quality standards, customer service excellence and compliance in line with ESFA and Ofsted standards.
This position requires a person to be a high calibre individual who can demonstrate a track record in Quality Assurance and Leadership within the Skills and Further Education Sector; Be willing and able to take full responsibility for the tasks they undertake; Be dynamic and focused, who is looking to further their career.
Key Responsibilities
Support key responsibility for Quality related matters internally and externally in England
Improve business Quality and Customer performance, demonstrated by KPI improvement, through application of a consistence approach to Quality and Customer Service
Drive a continuous improvement mindset by coaching, mentoring, and training the wider business to ensure the highest levels of qualifications, skills and competences.
Drive outstanding mentality in the areas of Quality and Customer Service excellence, acting as a leading role to develop the companies views to quality.
Undertake and support management of IQA sampling, audits, observations and learner surveys across COPA England provision.
Act as a key contact for External Quality Assurance and End Point Assessment Organisations.
Ensure that all quality certifications and regulatory approvals are being maintained adequately and effectively.
Ensure all activities, processes and procedures are carried out to the highest quality and accuracy standards.
Ensure that quality issues are dealt with timely and effectively.
Be responsible for conducting internal audits of existing contract and suppliers and conduct assessment/selection for all new processes, suppliers and providers.
Provide leading support with Head of Quality for regulatory authority inspections including OFSTED, ESFA, Local Authority and Employers.
To lead, guide, evaluate and develop a high performing team to ensure company goals and targets are met or exceed and all relevant regulations adhered to.
Develop and maintain effective business relations with all key stakeholders to meet business targets.
Ensure continuous personal development in line with Company Business Plan.
Carry a small caseload of learners in your related occupational area when needed
Take responsibility for, and be held accountable for the security, condition, and the upkeep of your working environment and all equipment used in the course of your employment.
Manage and record your own professional development in line with the Company's Business Plan and Staff Development Plan.
Promote the commitment to Safeguarding in line with the Safeguarding Children and Vulnerable Adults Policy and Procedure.

Ensure that all matters relating to Health and Safety are carried out in line with Company Policy and current legislation.
As appropriate to your role you will work to the Common Inspection Framework, Matrix standard, Investors in People, and other quality standards as required by the company and its partners.
Undertake any other duties as deemed appropriate by the Head of Quality and Managing Director.
Qualifications and Experience- Essential
Hold at least Level 4 award in Internal Quality Assurance .
Hold a recognised Assessor qualification.
Have a proven track record with at least 3 years' experience of working within a quality/compliance setting in Further Education and Skills.
Competency regarding Safeguarding.
Be willing to undergo a Disclosure & Barring Service check.
Full and clean driving licence and access to own transport.
Strong knowledge of the Ofsted Inspection Toolkit and Department for Education Accountability Framework
A range of occupational experience and recognised qualifications in Active Leisure and Coaching, for example qualifications in Personal Training, Fitness, Leisure management and Sport Coaching.
