Key Responsibilities:

Carry out all QA checks correctly and at the defined frequencies to ensure that all products are being produced within specification. Conduct checks at defined frequencies to ensure that the CCP's are within critical limits and immediately inform the Production Supervisor/Manager and the QA Supervisor when any test results are out of specification or have deviated outside of critical limits for CCP's. Complete intake checks on raw materials and packaging materials and immediately notify the QA Supervisor when results from intake checks are out of specification. Accurately completing all paperwork. Actively encouraging all staff to work to GMP (good manufacturing practices) and GHP (good hygienic practices), ensuring to correct staff who are not following company rules and procedures. Always adhere to company policies including the personal hygiene policy, using correct manual handling techniques, and always wearing the correct PPE. Understand, support, and promote brand integrity and Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR).

Desirable Knowledge, Skills, and Personal Attributes:

Excellent decision making and problem-solving skills. Strong planning and organisational skills with a sense of priority for deadlines and attention to detail. Good understanding of English (written, verbal and reading). Ability to work independently and as part of a team with a professional approach and attitude. Knowledge of BRC, retail audit requirements and food legislation standards. Level 2 Awards in Food Safety in Manufacturing and Foundation HACCP.

Hours of Work:

Normal contractual hours of work are 45 hours per week. Your normal working hours are 3pm - 12am.
