Job Description

Excellent opportunity for an experienced QA to join our Technical team. Responsible for monitoring the quality and safety of all products produced by the factory and ensuring all agreed customer specifications are adhered to.

Working hours: 40 hours per week, Sunday to Thursday, 05:30- 14:00. Flexibility required, especially for holiday cover and Audits.

Main tasks and responsibilities:

Monitor production to ensure all documentation is complete and all products manuals, size templates, colour standards are available in line during manufacturing process.

Monitor scaling of raw materials, mixing recipes to ensure compliance with mixing sheet (i.e., correct ingredients, correct lot codes, quantities, monitor recording of lot numbers to ensure no expired ingredients are being used.

Ensure deposit weights specifications are met.

Sieve integrity and silo sieve tailing check.

Monitor the proving and baking process to ensure baking specifications are being followed, check product and compare to colour standards, and check internal temperatures.

Monitor cooling process to ensure product is being adequately cooled without any adverse effects

Compare product specifications; check size, dimension, colour and other attributes of finished product.

Monitor freezing processes to ensure product is correctly frozen.

Monitor packaging to ensure correct labelling, date coding, and correct packaging is being followed.

Placing questionable product on hold, stopping production line to correct or prevent product quality issues.

Monitor and check all CCP &QCP points.

Monitor and record metal detector checks on regular agreed basis. Deviations from the specification must be recorded and reported to the Technical Manager and Shift Manager.

Assisting in the maintenance of all quality systems.

Take all completed sheets to the Technical Department on a daily basis.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: 12.60-13.00 per hour
