The Quality Checking (QC) & Training Analyst is a critical role where you\xe2\x80\x99ll be responsible for ensuring the quality of Suspicious Activity Reporting (SAR) is maintained to a high standard in line with agreed internal policy, legal and regulatory expectations.

You\xe2\x80\x99ll be responsible for Quality Checking (QC) activities & Training, focused on SAR Unit in line with the annual plan and methodology.

You\xe2\x80\x99ll take a leading role in identifying quality weaknesses through the testing processes, both risk based and end to end. You\xe2\x80\x99ll possess excellent SAR investigation skills with the ability to provide high quality feedback on decisions, designed to improve skillsets.

  • Assisting the QC & Training Manager in conducting assessments in line with the quality checking methodology
  • Producing relevant and useful feedback on QC results to drive quality improvements and SAR case efficiencies.
  • Conducting Quality checks of SAR Investigations to provide insightful feedback, driving quality improvement and procedural efficiencies
  • Providing training delivery requirements in line with SARU training plan and as identified through QC activities including by side training with SAR Investigators

We are looking for people who can help shape, influence and transform the Bank\xe2\x80\x99s capabilities, ensuring we continue to disrupt Financial crimes, and support and enable the right outcomes for our customers.
  • Investigation experience within a financial crime, law enforcement, or equivalent environment.
  • Coaching, training, mentoring skills, or experience within a Quality Control function.
It would also be nice for you to have.
  • Demonstratable knowledge of Suspicious Activity Reporting within a Financial Institution.
  • Ability to assess and provide meaningful feedback on activities relating to financial crime legislation, policy and procedures.
  • Strong understanding of the UK financial services regulatory framework.
  • Relevant academic/regulatory Financial Crime qualification.

This is a permanent role based in our offices in Milton Keynes.

If successful, you will receive a site-based contract with a hybrid working pattern. You will be expected to attend the office 40% of the time.
