About the role
As a Quality and Compliance Manager, you will play a vital part in upholding the global reputation and integrity of English language assessments. By ensuring our exam centres consistently deliver our requirements, we maintain the trust of recognising organisations and stakeholders worldwide. This trust is central to driving growth and safeguarding the reputation of Cambridge University Press & Assessment.
You will contribute to the secure and quality-assured delivery of millions of exams across a diverse portfolio of English language products. These assessments are administered in tens of thousands of venues across 130 countries, making this role critical to our global impact and operational excellence.
Key responsibilities will include:
Mitigating risk through processes for new centre and qualification approvals, to safeguard the centre network
Working with colleagues around the world to maintain compliance and quality assurance standards within the centre network
Leading detailed information-gathering into, and holding meetings with, non-compliant centres and recommending sanctions where appropriate
Ensuring adherence to regulatory standards
Drafting instructions to centres and internal policies to support centre compliance
About you
You will have thorough knowledge of the qualifications sector and current challenges, along with good understanding of the regulatory requirements for exam boards.
You will be an excellent critical thinker, decision maker and problem solver, with the ability to inform and influence colleagues across the organisation.
You will have knowledge of the measures undertaken to ensure compliance within exam centres, and experience of contributing, or maintaining, an ISO9001 quality management system or equivalent.
Knowledge of Cambridge English customer base and global centre network would be an advantage.
