Working Hours



Monday-Friday, 5.30am-2.30pm.

The Role



Reporting directly to the Compliance Manager, the Quality Control Assistant will be responsible for ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards. This is a critical role in our organisation, as you will play a key part in maintaining customer satisfaction and upholding our reputation for excellence.

Key Responsibilities:



Monitor product food safety and quality throughout the manufacturing process. Ensuring Compliance of Product to agreed Specification. Ensures the correct recipe guidelines for products are met during processing. Ensures employees are following all Food Safety and worker safety practices. Ensures and educates employees on Food Safety and Food Safety Standards. Collection of product samples for retention. Observation and CCP sign off. Promotion of a Positive Food Safety Culture within the Production Environment. To carry out verification checks on all measuring equipment within the manufacturing facility. To verify all production paperwork that has been completed during the shift to ensure production compliance. Verification of despatched goods to acceptable standards. Issue, report & Investigate internal Non-Conformances during production. Conducting internal GMP Audits for weekly reports Conducting Glass & Hard Plastic Audits

Other duties as assigned:



The employee may be required to perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned by their manager, supervisor or other authorised personnel. These duties and responsibilities may be added, modified, or eliminated to meet the organisation's changing needs and business requirements.

Qualification:



Essential: Food Safety L2,

Desirable: HACCP L2, Industry Experience, Internal Auditor

Skills and Abilities:



Conscientious Keen eye for detail Excellent Timekeeper Self-Motivated Ability to work independently and as part of a team Excellent communication skills.

Physical Requirement:



The role requires flexibility to access all areas of the site, while time will be spent in an office environment there is a requirement to spend time in all areas of the site which could require long periods of standing.

Work Environment:



Working in both an office and factory environment depending on the task at hand. Ability to be flexible in your approach and work both inside and out as required.
