Overview

The

Quality Control Assistant

supports the QC department in ensuring all raw materials, in-process production, and finished goods meet Vita Manufacture's strict quality, safety, and compliance standards. This role safeguards product integrity through inspections, testing, and documentation to ensure all production meets GMP and ISO standards.

Key Responsibilities

Sampling & Testing:

Collect raw material, in-process, and finished product samples; perform basic inspections and quality checks.

Documentation:

Record QC data accurately in logs, batch records, and reports.

Quality Compliance:

Ensure production activities adhere to SOPs, GMP, and ISO22000 standards; report deviations promptly.

Audit Support:

Assist with internal and external audits by preparing relevant QC documentation.

Communication:

Work closely with Production and Warehouse teams to resolve quality issues and support corrective actions.

Continuous Improvement:

Identify recurring issues and propose process improvements to the QC Manager.

What You'll Bring

Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to follow written and verbal instructions. Good analytical and problem-solving skills. Effective teamwork and communication abilities.

Qualifications & Experience

Minimum GCSEs (Maths and Science preferred) or equivalent. Experience in manufacturing, laboratory, or quality control roles preferred. Basic understanding of GMP, ISO standards, or food/pharma QC processes is advantageous. Training in Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) or ISO22000 is desirable.

Working Environment

On-site role within a fast-paced production facility. May involve standing for long periods and light physical handling of materials. Must maintain confidentiality and accuracy in all records. Working hours: Monday - Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM.
