We are looking for a

Quality Control Inspector

to join our Quality Department.

Personnel Qualification: -

Proven experience in a Quality control or Inspection role, preferably in a manufacturing environment. MUST be able to read Engineering Drawings and understand tolerances.

Strong understanding of technical drawings and the ability to interpret production requirements, tolerances and specifications.

Excellent attention to detail and accuracy in measurements.

Good communication and teamwork skills.

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Basic computer skills for data entry and record keeping.

Key Responsibilities:

Conduct dimensional inspections of plastic profiles using tools such as callipers and tape measures.

Interpret and understand technical drawings and specifications to determine measurement requirements.

Record and document inspection results, ensuring accuracy and completeness.

Identify and report any non-conformances or deviations from specifications to the Quality Manager.

Investigate external customer product complaints or reported quality issues to ensure closure in accordance with company complaint guidelines.

Collaborate with production to resolve quality issues and implement corrective actions.

Weekly calibration of shopfloor and departments test equipment.

Follow all safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment.

Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance quality control processes and procedures.

Inspection and Testing: Conducting regular inspections and tests to identify defects and ensure compliance with quality standards. This will be done by testing samples taken from previous production runs and by production runs in real time.

Quality Documentation: Maintaining detailed records of inspections and creating new inspections when needed.

Training and support: Offering training and support to staff to ensure they understand and adhere to quality standards.

Actively helping and supporting with the daily monitoring of H & S and shopfloor staff risk activities.

Knowledge of ISO 9001-2015 desirable, however training will be given.

Pay: Starting from 31,000 - 35,000 depending on experience.

Pay: 31,000.00-35,000.00 per year
