is a key team member responsible for ensuring that products meet internal quality standards as well as customer, regulatory, and statutory requirements. This role involves detailed inspections of in-process and finished components/assemblies and close collaboration with various departments to ensure the delivery of high-quality, conforming products.
Key Responsibilities
Inspect components and assemblies for conformity to technical drawings, 3D models, and specifications.
Program and operate CNC Coordinate Measuring Machines (CMMs) to perform precision inspections.
Utilize a wide range of measuring tools and inspection equipment to conduct quality checks.
Perform 1st-off, in-process, and final product inspections.
Conduct patrol inspections throughout production processes to ensure ongoing compliance.
Prepare and maintain essential quality documentation, including Manufacturing Control Plans and First Article Inspection Reports (FAIRs).
Calibrate and maintain metrology and inspection equipment.
Inspect incoming goods and associated documentation for compliance with requirements.
Qualifications
Minimum of 2 years of experience in quality control or a related technical field.
Strong understanding of quality documentation and control procedures.
Familiarity with quality standards such as EN9100 or similar.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experienced in using Quality Management Systems (QMS).
Preferred Skills
Previous experience in regulated industries (e.g., aerospace, automotive, medical devices).
Skilled in programming and operating CMMs.
Solid knowledge of measurement tools, calibration practices, and machining processes.
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings with a working knowledge of GD&T.
Understanding of industry-specific and customer-driven quality and process requirements.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
