13.90 per hour

Shift Pattern:

Monday-Friday (6am-2pm/2pm-10pm alternating weekly)

We are currently seeking enthusiastic and detail-oriented

Quality Control Lab Technician

to join our QC team. This is a great opportunity to join a supportive and forward-thinking company, with full training provided.

Key Responsibilities:

Carry out routine and specialised quality control tests on yarn and fabrics in line with industry standards. Maintain accurate records, calibrate laboratory equipment, and raise non-conformances. Work closely with production teams to provide quality feedback, documentation, and suggest process improvements. Comply with health, safety, and environmental policies, ensuring safe handling and disposal of chemicals and test samples. Support new product development through trial testing and sample preparation, contributing to continuous improvement initiatives.

What We're Looking For:

Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with keen attention to detail and the ability to interpret and analyse test data accurately. Proficient in using laboratory instruments and software for accurate data recording and reporting. Awareness of ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and relevant environmental and safety regulations in a laboratory setting. Effective communicator with strong training skills; able to work both independently and collaboratively within a team. Awareness of 5S standards and commitment to maintaining an organised, efficient, and safe working environment.
