Quality Control Operatives

to join our Quality Team based in Beeston, Leeds.

The

Quality Control Operatives

will provide a proactive and methodical approach to resolving production issues, ensuring all products are manufactured in accordance with defined quality standards, approved materials, and agreed specifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Monitor quality of products within different departments of the beds business to ensure all quality standard and procedures are being correctly adhered to. Working towards achieving a 98% right first-time target across all production functions and pushing for higher. Identify, record, and report defects or non-conformances in a timely and accurate manner. Ensure all quality documents are maintained to a high standard. Promote continuous improvement by conducting root-cause analysis and corrective actions to prevent recurring issues. Making quality part of our values by creating a positive quality driven culture. Provide all operatives and line managers with quality and technical support.

Key Skills & Experience:

Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Methodical approach. Effective communication skills for reporting issues and collaborating with production teams. Ability to work independently and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced environment. Problem-solving mindset with a focus on continuous improvement. Previous experience in a manufacturing or quality-related role is beneficial but not always essential. Knowledge of quality control tools, inspection methods, or ISO standards is an advantage. Basic IT skills for completing digital records and reports
