Job Function:



Supports the QRESH Manager and the team to control the quality of products developed, manufactured, purchased and sold by the company.

Supports with Lake Manufacturing Services.

Duties:



Daily

Conduct and report on daily quality checks, testing, and recording findings for: Raw materials intake inspections In-production checks Finished products Quarantine control Allergen control Hygiene inspections Health and Safety Good Manufacturing Practices Ensure all areas meet food safety and quality standards Perform testing, analysis, and reporting of key quality activities as per the QRESH schedule: Pre-operation checks Equipment calibration Water sampling Environmental monitoring Prepare samples for off-site laboratory testing
Weekly

Support with reviewing analytical information and documentation for: Product onboarding Ingredient risk assessments Product release Certificates of Analysis (COAs) Investigate non-conformances and consumer complaints Assist with implementing corrective actions and monitor their effectiveness
Monthly

Support internal and external audits and traceability activities, including: FSSC 22000 BRCGS MHRA ISO 9001 Customer audits Pest Control Participate as part of the HACCP team and contribute to maintaining HACCP plans through: Productivity improvements Documentation updates Enhancing ways of working

Abilities & Skills:



Candidates have experience in a similar role within a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of Food Safety & HACCP principles.

Motivated with the ability to work on own initiative

Competent in record keeping

Excellent organisation and communication skills

IT Literate

Have a can-do attitude and commitment to safety

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to 27,000.00 per year

Ability to commute/relocate:

Redditch, B98 9PA: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)
Work Location: In person
