Working Hours 40 hours per week, working on a rotating 3-shift schedule: 06:00-14:00, 14:00-22:00, and 22:00-06:00.

Main Purpose of Role:
To check that all components are produced effectively, efficiently and to Company and Customer standards at all times.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
To carry out work instructions for start of production as laid down in the IMS manual.
Sorting of labels and 'packing specs' for production.
Control quality of all components produced
To carry out all post-production quality checks as required.
To carry out 4 hourly checks on all production machines as required.
To carry out daily retention checks on all flip-top components.
To carry out component capacity checks as required.
To check all colours against standards and file away and record new colour standards to keep system up to date.
Ensure all components are packaged, labelled and palletised in line with customer and company requirements.
To liaise with shift supervisors on all production problems.
To supervise any packing personnel required in the department ensuring that they are working to the required standard, that they are fully occupied and that breaks are taken as outlined in their contracts of employment
Erecting cartons for production as required.
Bar Coding finished goods and removing production from unit to warehouse.
Comply with quality standards as set by the Company and to co-operate in both internal and external audits as required.
Adhere to stated policies and procedures relating to: health and safety, quality and environmental management.
Ensure that the department is safe and clean during and at the end of each shift.
To carry out administration and reporting as necessary.
