Are you hands-on, detail-focused, and looking to build a career in a specialist trade?
Join our busy stone fabrication workshop as a Trainee Quality Controller and learn the full production process from the ground up. No experience needed - just a strong work ethic and eagerness to learn.
You'll work closely with our fabrication and installation teams, making sure our bespoke stone worktops and components meet the highest quality standards before they go out the door.
Key Responsibilities:
Inspect finished stone pieces for quality, finish, and correct dimensions Learn to identify common defects like chips, scratches, or incorrect sizing Assist with checking templates and final measurements against specifications Help maintain a clean, organised quality control area Shadow experienced fabricators to learn the production process Complete basic quality control paperwork accurately and on time Follow health & safety protocols and industry best practices Communicate with the fabrication team to resolve quality issues
What We're Looking For:
No previous experience required - full training provided Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn Reliable, punctual, and motivated with a positive attitude Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physical workshop environment Good communication and teamwork skills Physically fit and able to handle stone materials safely (with appropriate equipment)
