Role Summary:
We are seeking a Quality Coordinator to join our team in Lanarkshire. As Quality Coordinator, you will work collaboratively with Care & Support Managers, Operational staff and Directors, to maintain and improve quality standards across all services. The postholder will develop, implement and monitor systems, policies and procedures in line with current legislation, Care Inspectorate Standards, Health & Social Care Standards and SSSC Codes of Practice.
This role ensures that service delivery remains person-centred, safe, effective and continuously improving.
Responsibilities (this list is not exhaustive):
Develop, implement and streamline company policies and procedures.
Ensure all quality processes align with Health & Social care standards and SSSC Codes of practice
Oversee internal audit processes and produce clear, actionable reports and improvement plans
Collate and prepare information required by the Care Inspectorate and other regulatory visits
Create, implement and maintain business templates, ensuring consistency across the organisation.
Deliver relevant training sessions
Develop and organise regular engagement sessions throughout the year
Conduct regular customer feedback surveys; collate and analyse results
Maintain up to date training materials
You should ideally have:
SVQ qualification (or willingness to achieve) suitable for SSSC registration for a Quality post
In depth knowledge of Health & Social care standards and SSSC Codes of Practice
Experience with Care Inspectorate audits and quality frameworks
Previous experience in quality monitoring, compliance or service improvement within a social care setting
Strong communication skills
