Job Overview

We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Quality Controller to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of food, quality and safety. This position requires strong analytical skills and a solid understanding of quality assurance processes, particularly in relation to HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point) principles Quality Management Systems.

Duties

Conduct daily inspections of products and processes to ensure compliance with quality standards. Implement and monitor quality assurance protocols, including HACCP guidelines, to maintain product safety and integrity. Analyse data from quality tests and inspections to identify trends or areas for improvement. Collaborate with production teams to address quality issues and implement corrective actions as necessary. Prepare detailed reports on quality findings and present them to management for review. Maintain accurate records of inspections, tests, and compliance with regulatory requirements. Train staff on quality control procedures and best practices to foster a culture of quality within the organisation.

Qualifications

Proven experience in a quality control or assurance role, preferably within a manufacturing or food production environment. Strong understanding of HACCP principles and their application in quality management/ understanding of Food manufacturing procedures. Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret data effectively. Detail-oriented with a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to effectively convey information across various teams. Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
