The Role



We're looking for a

Quality Coordinator

to join our team and help us maintain the exceptional standards that Sealy is known for.

This is a hands-on role where you'll oversee quality across our manufacturing operations, working with our production teams to ensure every mattress leaving our factory meets our exacting standards.

What You'll Be Doing



Implementing and maintaining our quality management systems Conducting quality audits and inspections on the production floor Working with external auditors and certification bodies Identifying quality issues and leading improvement initiatives Training and supporting production staff on quality standards Maintaining quality records and preparing performance reports Managing customer complaints and corrective actions Being the go-to person for all quality matters on site

What We're Looking For



Essential:



Level 3 qualification in Quality, Engineering, Manufacturing or similar (or equivalent hands-on experience) At least 2 years' experience in a manufacturing or quality role Experience doing quality checks, inspections or audits Good IT skills including Excel Excellent organisational skills and attention to detail Clear communicator who can work with people at all levels Practical problem-solver Self-motivated team player who's willing to learn Full UK driving licence

Desirable:



Higher qualification (HNC/HND or equivalent) Knowledge of ISO 9001 or quality systems Training in Lean or Six Sigma Experience from furniture, bedding or textile manufacturing Experience coaching or training others

Working Pattern:



Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (Mon- Thursday - 7:30am to 4:00pm / Friday 6:00am - 1:00pm) Based at our Aspatria site Some flexibility required for audit schedules
