. We're hiring a
Quality & Delivery Lead
to own
Internal Quality Assurance (IQA)
and drive consistent teaching and assessment standards across our lecturer team.
This is a key role: you'll ensure our delivery is compliant, consistent, audit-ready, and continuously improving--while supporting lecturers to perform at their best.
Key ResponsibilitiesIQA Ownership (core)
Build and maintain the
IQA strategy and sampling plan
across programmes.
Carry out
IQA sampling
and maintain accurate records.
Lead
standardisation meetings
with lecturers/assessors to ensure consistency.
Maintain
audit readiness
and support awarding body visits (EV/audits).
Manage corrective actions and continuous improvement actions through to completion.
Quality & Delivery Leadership
Monitor and improve
teaching quality, learner experience and outcomes
.
Conduct light-touch
teaching observations
and structured feedback.
Support consistency in
schemes of work, lesson delivery, learner progress tracking
, and assessment decisions.
Help resolve delivery issues (quality-focused, not timetabling).
Continuous Improvement & Reporting
Provide a simple monthly quality summary: findings, trends, actions, risks.
Work closely with the
Operations Manager
(timetable/exams/admin) and
Sales Manager
(learner suitability feedback loop).
Requirements (must-have)
Proven
IQA experience
in vocational education (electrical preferred).
Strong understanding of
, and audit-readiness.
Confident working with lecturers and assessors--able to raise standards without politics.
Highly organised, documentation strong, calm under audit pressure.
Able to commit to
3 days/week
, with
at least 2 days on-site
in Cheshunt.
Desirable
Electrical industry background.
IQA qualification
(V1/TAQA/IQA equivalent), plus assessor quals (CAVA/TAQA) a plus.
Experience with City & Guilds / EAL delivery environments.
