The successful candidate will be responsible for performing quality engineering duties relating to the support of processes and practices associated with the Company's core business. The successful candidate will be based in Wellheads, Dyce.

An overview of your day
Provide quality advice on processes and assist in root cause investigation
Collaborating with Operations Managers to develop and implement controls and improvements
Ensure that workflows, processes and products comply with OEM specifications and standards.
Provide technical direction to external auditors to verify compliance requirements
Provide assistance with the review, approval and quality control of vendors and suppliers
Assist in generating QAS documents to support Operational requirements
Review technical quality standards and oversee corrective action plan
Ensure the control of non-conforming material in accordance with procedures
Conduct QHSE Internal Audits
Develop and implementing quality standards
Developing and implementing quality control systems
Monitoring and analysing quality performance
Develop advanced quality planning with respect to customer requirements
Provide focus on quality across the business
Assisting in the development and update of the Company's Integrated Management System Manuals
Assist in the development and review of risk assessments and provide advice and assistance on their development
Communicate effectively within the department and provide support and assistance to other staff/suppliers where appropriate
Undertake other duties as may be reasonably required to meet the needs of the business
Ensure compliance with all Company policies
What we need from you
HNC or Degree in Mechanical Engineering
Mechanical Engineering apprenticeship
Lean Sigma Green Belt desirable, training can be given
NEBOSH General Certificate desirable, training can be given
Internal / Lead auditor - ISO 9001/9100 desirable, training can be given
Detailed knowledge of all RWG Accreditation Standards
Detailed knowledge of NADCAP process
Detailed knowledge of Rolls Royce and Siemens specifications
Literate in MS applications
Knowledge of RWG IT systems
Must have good communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to influence and engage with all parts of the business
