Essential Criteria:
1. Level 5 or above HND, NVQ or Graduate Certificate or Diploma in a relevant discipline to the role.
2. A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar role.
3. A working knowledge of quality management systems and processes (ISO 9001).
4. Must be legally entitled to work in Northern Ireland/UK and travel throughout the island of Ireland if required; if you do require a visa/work permit allowing you to work in Northern Ireland/UK you

must

upload a copy of it with your application. Failure to provide a relevant Visa/Work permit may result in your application not being considered.

Desirable Criteria:
1. Knowledge of ERP computerised systems.
2. Good understanding of engineering drawings.
3. Good understanding of six sigma/lean manufacturing.

Key Tasks and Duties:
1. Ensure inspections are completed on all incoming raw materials and components to ensure they meet quality standards before being used in production.
2. Ensure inspection are completed at various stages of the manufacturing process such as cutting, kitting, welding, paint and assembly to ensure compliance with quality standards.
3.Perform final inspections on finished products to verify they meet the required specifications before they are shipped to customers.
4. Continuously monitor production processes and recorded issues to identify any deviations from quality standards.
5. Identify and document any internal defects or non-conformities in products or processes.
6. Liaise and resolve all customer and supplier quality related issues.
7. Document and investigate all customer quality faults which have arisen from internal production faults or processes.
8. Conduct root cause analysis to determine the underlying causes of quality issues and implement corrective actions.
9. Resolve all internal quality related issues with the production team.
10. Liaise with all production departments regarding any quality related issues.
11. Make informed decisions regarding quality issues which have resulted in production stoppages.
12. Identify and document any defects or non-conformities in products or processes.
13. Keep detailed records of inspections, and quality control activities.
14. Prepare reports on quality metrics, non-conformances, and corrective actions for management review.
15. Identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance product quality and reduce waste.
16. Work with the production supervisors to implement process improvements and monitor their effectiveness.
17. Review and update the Quality Management System documents to ensure they remain applicable and in line with the company policy and objectives.
18. Work with the companies Quality Management System to ensure compliance with ISO 9001 and drive the quality performance within the company.
19. Help implement and maintain the Quality Management System (QMS) to streamline quality control processes and ensure consistent quality management.
20. Ensure products meet customer-specific requirements and specifications.
21. Ensure that all inspection and testing equipment is properly maintained and calibrated such as the torque wrenches.
22. Train production staff on quality standards, inspection techniques, and proper use of quality control tools and equipment.
23. Work closely with the operational supervisors and assist in the training of staff regarding quality awareness and standards.
24. Communicate quality issues and improvement initiatives to all relevant stakeholders, including production, engineering, and management teams.
25. Conduct audits of suppliers to ensure the quality of incoming materials and components.
26. Work with suppliers to resolve quality issues and improve the quality of supplied materials.
27. Meet and liaise with customers during any internal quality audits or visits.
