In this Quality Engineer position, you will act as a subject matter expert (SME) within the CAPA process, providing assistance and guidance to CAPA initiators and owners.
Your responsibilities

• Responding to emerging quality issues, containment issues and verification of any products or materials that do not meet required standards and/or specification

- Manage CAPA processes, including the process of documenting all required information in the system
- Monitor CAPA phases to drive timeliness in execution, and inform management for potential risk of delays
- Monitor execution of all CAPA tasks, and ensure associated objective evidence is appropriately captured
- Manage product and process control
- Participate in problem solving and continuous improvement activities, leading when required
- Generate and maintain control plans and inspection instructions
- Provide guidance and assistance with the NPI design verification and validation process
- Review and approve technical documents and process documentation
- To play a support and lead role as required during audits, including creating, conducting and logging and audit activities
Your qualification

• You can demonstrate a minimum of a HNC or above, in an Engineering or Scientific discipline

- Minimum of three years' in a Quality Engineering role within a highly-regulated manufacturing environment
- You can demonstrate a solid understanding of quality management systems, testing tools and statistical analysis
- You are naturally collaborative, able to work cross functionally as part of a team
- You possess strong interpersonal skills, and communicate effectively
- You can demonstrate project management, problem solving, critical thinking and conflict resolution skills
