HOURS: Full-time

WORKING PATTERN: Our work style is hybrid, which involves spending at least two days per week, or 40% of our time, at our Edinburgh location

We\'re looking to recruit a Quality Engineer to work within a highly proficient and productive engineering team instilled with a team ethos of testing and delivering high quality solutions for the bank and its customers.

You\'ll work to deliver customer driven testing solutions and quality software to take on business problems and realise value to customers through excellence in execution. You will do this by implementing the right level of Test Engineering principles and artefacts across all testing types through Agile testing with an \xe2\x80\x98Automation First\xe2\x80\x99 approach.

Work in an Agile fashion to lead a team of colleagues from different fields to plan and execute highly effective testing to ensure excellent delivery quality to colleagues and customers.

Exercise your \xe2\x80\x9cT-Shape\xe2\x80\x9d capabilities to develop and further improve the expansion of our Test Automation framework to deliver quality testing in a rapid execution timeline.

Be part of the Quality Engineering community to learn and grow individually but also working with others to help the community improve.

Work collaboratively with the Product Owner as well as Engineers, Business Analysts and Scrum Masters to help building the feature team capability.

What you\xe2\x80\x99ll need

Technical and practical usage skills in REACT, C#.net/Nodejs , Jenkins, Microservices, Selenium, BDD Cucumber and Jira/Confluence.

The ability to lead test engineering and automation.

Experience in a collaborative team environment and have a proven track record delivering business value through well-rounded engineering and principles.

Extensive experience working in agile, DevOps and non-agile quality engineering practices; manual and automated testing, functional and non-functional coverage as well as documentation (all test deliverables within the lifecycle) and defect management.

A real strength for mentoring other engineers and developing a strong team culture, along with a successful track record of leading and taking responsibility.
