Job Title: Quality Engineer \xe2\x80\x93 Precision Engineering/machining and fabrication

Hours: 39 hours per week - Monday to Thursday 07:30 to 16:30 OR 08:00 to 17:00, Friday 07.30 to 12.30

Salary: \xc2\xa330,000-\xc2\xa337,000

Location: Ilkeston

Benefits: Pension, on site parking, Death in Service

Overview

Working in first class precision engineering manufacturing facilities we now require an additional quality engineer to join the team.

The ideal candidate / Quality Engineer may have some of the following, however, please note these are only desirable and not essential as all applications will be looked at individually:

Manufacturing and Quality experience in a fabrication, machining or special process background similar

Knowledge of inspection equipment associated in a machining and fabrication environment

Knowledge of quality managements systems (ISO9001/AS9100)

Knowledge of problem analysis methodologies (i.e. 8D, Ishikawa, 5-Why)

Knowledge of quality management tools and methodologies (i.e. APQP, FMEA, 8D, Statistical Process Control (SPC), Control Plans, Risk Management, Quality Control, Quality Assurance)

Previous Internal auditing experience

The work environment:

Various manufacturing processes utilised that include CNC machining, Anodising, Sheet Metal Work, NDT & Heat Treatment etc.

Commutable from: Ilkeston, Derby, Loughborough, Burton upon Trent, Nottingham, Alfreton, Mansfield and Surrounding areas.
