Job Description


As part of this team, you will be working closely with the IAM team to define and prioritise the team\'s backlog, giving a tester\'s perspective on the creation of acceptance criteria. As the stories progress, you will be responsible for testing to ensure the acceptance criteria have been met, then demonstrating them to the Identity and Access Manager and/or relevant Business user to sign off.

Ultimately, you will become a subject matter expert on testing Saviynt with the ability to deliver knowledge transfer material to other team members.

This role is required to highlight any risks that may impact quality and delivery. With a keen interest in testing and the ability to champion new test processes and improvements; participate in discussion forums and keep up with industry standards, this role will ensure we maintain the latest industry skills in software testing.

You will have gained the following skills/experience:

  • Self-starter with initiative and enthusiasm
  • Capable of owning all testing related processes & deliverables within allocated projects / team
  • Highly organised with the ability to manage multiple test activities simultaneously
  • Strong analytical skills and a technical aptitude
  • Ability to communicate with clarity and to have confidence in dealing with all levels of employees and external partners
  • Be highly customer focused with ability to work collaboratively
  • Strong influencing and negotiating skills in a personable and professional manner
  • You are inquisitive and keen to understand technically how systems work behind the scenes and how they integrate with each other
  • You keep up with industry best practices and can influence others to try new ways of working
Minimum Criteria
  • Experience in software testing including business critical web and desktop applications with multiple integration points
  • Experience in Business UAT engagement and stakeholder management, ideally within an IT project environment
  • Demonstrate technical ability with a desire to learn further technical skills & potentially developing automation skills
  • Experience of API testing & tools
  • Preferable Experience of testing access controls and usage of tools such as Saviynt
  • Evidence of strong organisational and communication skills
