Job Summary


We are looking for a QSHE (Quality, Safety, Health, Environmental) Manager to join the He-Man Leadership team, ensuring the highest standards of quality across production, customer relations, engineering projects, supplier management, and business systems.

The successful candidate will play an integral part in the leadership team as well as maintaining ISO9001, 45001 and 14001 compliances, in addition the introduction of IATF16949, improving processes, and driving continuous improvement within our manufacturing operations.

The individual should be hands on, driven, motivated and passionate about change and must have personal attributes in line with the company's Core Employee characteristics

A goal orientated, can do attitude will enable the individual to work at all levels of the business to significant impact and improve both the planning of the factory and the control of the planning within the factory.

The individual will work closely with other senior managers, sales, Production & Design to ensure he or she has everything they need to deliver against the business objectives.

The experience and knowledge of the individual will enable them to work well as part of the leadership team but also draw on their knowledge and experience to introduce you processes and techniques.

Responsibilities



Maintain the current ISO9001, 14001 & 45001 accreditations by supporting, monitoring, reviewing and auditing the management system. Take a lead and support the business on the introduction of IATF16949. Manage, monitor and report on the companies Non conformance process. Manage, monitor and report on the companies quality and Health & Safety processes. Line manage the quality team in their performance and development. Play an integral part of the Leadership Team along with management and Directors supporting the future of the business. Hands on leading by example. Build and lead the SHE and Quality team to a performance culture achieving agreed objectives (S.M.A.R.T). Evaluate our current processes including NPI for further improvements. Using data analysis skills, review data and trends for areas of improvement. Hold regular Non Conformance, Quality and Health and Safety review meetings with 5Y and corrective actions driving the outcome. Work with leaders to identify SHE & Quality priorities and programs for the area managed, including performance metrics, communication and change management. Support and be actively involved in the continuous improvement activities eg CAPA, 5S, Skills matrix etc within the business. Provide leadership, direction and a motivational influence to members of your team including quarterly and yearly performance reviews. Fully learn, understand and continuously improve, taking a hands on approach to every process within the department to ensure you and the team are working to SOP's and to ensure Audit Readiness. Take a lead in informal and formal HR meetings such as Absence, Disciplinary, Performance management, performance reviews with your team. Create and implement an audit process within the business to ensure departments are working to the documented processes.

Management System Specifics



Manage internal SHEQ audit process and, involving the stakeholders, address any identified areas of concern. Assess, prepare, action, review and CAPA all work required to maintain the full Management system (QMS, EMS, HS OH&S) Lead all ISO top level audits Lead all external audits of the MS. To oversee and be responsible for the review, continuous improvement, monitoring and actioning the full end of end SHE process, QP2.

Essential Skills



5-7 years Quality Manager role in an SME 2-3 years as part of senior management team. 3 years' experience of ISO external audit procedures. NEBOSH/IOSH, qualified Proven track record in the promotion and delivery of a Quality and Health & Safey Culture. Self-motivated, self-starter, energetic and enthusiastic. IT literate. Self-reliant, dependable, reliable, resourceful and conscientious. Able to build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders The ability to think creatively and exercise sound judgement in advising on mitigation of risks. Personal attributes

Hours & Benefits

Monday - Thursday: 07:30 to 16:00

Friday: 07:30 to 15:00
