We are seeking a detail-oriented and meticulous Quality Inspector to join our manufacturing team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that our products meet the highest quality standards and customer requirements. This position requires a keen eye for detail, strong technical skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Key Responsibilities

Final Inspection:+ Conduct thorough final inspections on all batches of products to ensure compliance with customer requirements and quality standards.
+ Perform visual inspections to identify any defects or inconsistencies in product appearance.
+ Complete and maintain accurate First Article Inspection Reports (FAIR) for new or modified products.
+ Carry out dimensional measurements using various precision measuring tools and equipment.
First-Off Part Inspection:+ Check and release first-off parts produced in the machine shop to ensure they meet specifications before full production runs.
+ Collaborate with machine operators to address any issues identified during first-off inspections.
Final Finishing Operations:+ Assist with various final finishing operations for bolts and studs, including:
- Manual and automated polishing to achieve required surface finishes.
- Part marking using appropriate techniques (e.g., laser marking, stamping, or engraving).
- Deburring to remove sharp edges and ensure product safety.
Measurement and Testing:+ Operate PC-driven measuring equipment, such as TESA systems, to perform precise measurements and data collection.
+ Conduct surface measurements to verify compliance with roughness and finish requirements.
+ Utilise contracting equipment and techniques to assess product dimensions and geometries.
Quality Documentation:+ Maintain accurate and up-to-date quality records, including inspection reports, measurement data, and non-conformance reports.
+ Contribute to the development and improvement of quality procedures and work instructions.
Continuous Improvement:+ Identify opportunities for process improvements and contribute ideas to enhance quality control procedures.
+ Participate in root cause analysis and corrective action initiatives to address quality issues.
Collaboration:+ Work closely with production, engineering, and quality assurance teams to ensure smooth operations and timely resolution of quality-related issues.
+ Communicate effectively with team members and management regarding quality concerns and improvement opportunities.
