To support the continuous improvement and quality standards at our logistics site, we are looking for a dedicated
Quality & Lean Specialist
. Our site handles a diverse range of e-commerce products, including food items, requiring high standards in quality management, compliance, and operational excellence. In this role, you will play a key part in driving lean processes, ensuring quality compliance, and supporting a culture of continuous improvement across the site.
Key Responsibilities
Implement, maintain, and continuously improve quality management processes across the logistics site
Ensure compliance with relevant quality standards, legal requirements, and food safety regulations applicable to logistics operations
Support audits (internal, customer, and external), including preparation, execution, follow-up, and corrective actions
Drive lean initiatives and continuous improvement projects (e.g. process optimisation, waste reduction, standardisation)
Analyse operational processes and performance data to identify improvement opportunities and inefficiencies
Develop, review, and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs), work instructions, and quality documentation
Support risk assessments, root cause analyses, and corrective/preventive actions (CAPA)
Train and support operational teams on quality standards, lean principles, and best practices
Act as a key interface between operations, management, customers, and external stakeholders on quality-related topics
Support the quality requirements of a diverse e-commerce product portfolio, including food and non-food items Contribute to the ongoing development of the role and objectives in line with business and strategic needs; task focus may vary depending on operational requirements
Your profile
Degree or vocational qualification in quality management, logistics, supply chain, engineering, or a related field
Experience in quality management and/or lean management within a logistics, warehouse, or supply chain environment
Knowledge of lean methods and tools (e.g. Lean, Kaizen, 5S, PDCA, Six Sigma basics)
Understanding of food safety and hygiene requirements in logistics (e.g. HACCP) is a strong advantage
Structured, analytical, and hands-on working style
Strong communication skills and the ability to work with cross-functional teams
Confident use of MS Office and quality-related documentation systems
