Quest Solutions (UK) Ltd are an established quality focused company specialising in Design, Fabrication and installation of Bespoke Architectural Windows, Doors & Curtain Walling Systems for both New Build and Refurbishment Projects. Due to our success, reputable business and continued growth we are looking to recruit an experienced Quality Assurance and Health & Safety Manager to work closely with our existing operational teams.
This role is ideal for someone with in-depth industry experience in architectural glazing systems and a solid understanding of sector-specific compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities:-
Setting up and maintaining the Quality Management System and all QA records.
Own and manage existing QA & HS policies ensuring alignment with business objectives and delivery of a consistent framework for quality compliance and health and safety across all operations.
Onsite inspection visits both prior and during installation to ensure compliance.
Production of documentation for site Inspection and Test Plan (ITPs) and Health and Safety.
Ensuring all project QA is up-to-date and handed over on a weekly basis via project specific online portals.
Carrying out water tests on installed works
Managing staff training & equipment certification
Creating RAMS and undergoing on site H&S checks
Arranging supplier visits and liaising with customers/consultants
Assist the site management team with design/install issues. Relaying any value engineering from site back to the office team to help improve company processes.
About the Candidate:-
10+ years' experience working in the facade installation industry with experience in Quality Management. A Degree or Postgraduate qualification in Quality Management, would be advantageous
A comprehensive technical knowledge and understanding of a range of differing facade types and architectural systems
Ability to recognise, control and monitor risk to improve health and safety.
Have a commitment to improvement and are an active team participant.
A willingness to be flexible to meet business needs and actively work towards expanding/developing knowledge and skill
Have previous experience working alongside a design office and have a full understanding of the fabrication processes
Must be able to fully understand the design and specification requirements of the Project, and ensure full compliance is maintained from site commencement through to handover.
It would be advantageous to have accreditations ISO9001/14001 and a knowledge on specific standards like EN 13830 and standards related to materials and installation practices.
Salary to be negotiated subject to skills and experience.
