Job Description

We're seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Quality Control Manager to join our A417 Missing Link Project in Gloucester, where you will lead and manage all quality control activities across the project's operations.

Location

: Gloucester - travel to the office required, with agile working available

Contract

: Permanent Fulltime, flexible hours available if desired, just let us know

Salary

: 55,000 - 60,000 per year + 5.9k annual car allowance + private healthcare + benefits

What will you be responsible for?

As a Quality Control Manager, you'll be responsible for ensuring that all products, services, and processes comply with internal quality standards and external regulatory requirements, while fostering a culture of continuous improvement.



Your day to day will include:


Develop, implement, and maintain robust quality control systems and procedures for onsite works Conduct regular inspections, audits, and sampling activities to monitor compliance with quality standards Investigate quality issues, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions Ensure compliance with industry standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements (e.g. ISO 9001) Lead internal and external audits, and coordinate responses and action plans

What are we looking for?

This role of Quality Control Manager is great for you if have:


Degree or equivalent qualification in Quality Management, Engineering, Science, or related discipline Proven experience in a quality control and process improvements within a management role Strong knowledge of quality systems, tools, and methodologies (e.g. ISO standards, Six Sigma, Lean) ISO 9001 Lead Auditor certification or similar
