As the Quality Manager, you will lead the quality assurance and control functions across our manufacturing operations. You'll be responsible for ensuring compliance with internal standards and external regulations while fostering a culture of quality, accountability, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and maintain quality management systems (QMS), policies, and procedures in line with AS 9001D or customer-specific standards.
Ensure compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and regulatory obligations.
Oversee internal and external audits, including planning, execution, and corrective actions.
Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA) to resolve quality issues.
Monitor and report on quality KPIs; analyse trends and present insights to senior leadership.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives across production and design processes.
Conduct internal and external audits and manage customer and regulatory audits.
Collaborate closely with Production, Engineering, and Supply Chain teams to ensure product quality from raw materials to finished goods.
Manage and mentor the Quality team to ensure a proactive quality culture across the business.
What We're Looking For:
Proven experience in a Quality Management role within a precision engineering or aerospace environment.
Minimum 5 years of experience in a quality leadership role within a manufacturing environment.
Experienced in internal process auditing and management.
In-depth knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards & methodologies (Lead Auditor qualification desirable).
Strong understanding of CNC machining, design, and manufacturing processes.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
Detail-oriented, data-driven, and confident in decision-making.
Familiarity with quality tools such as FMEA, 8D, SPC, PPAP, etc.
Certifications such as CQE, Six Sigma (Green/Black Belt), or similar are a plus.
