About this job

Our client is a leading analytical testing organisation offering contract services throughout the environmental sector, specialising in detection processes for contaminants, pollutants, explosives and toxins. Set within a modern, purpose-built facility in Bedford, they boast top of the range analytical instrumentation for the analysis of a range of sample types including food, water and biological matrices.

Seeking an accomplished Quality professional to join them as Quality Manager, you will hold ultimate responsibility for the daily management of the quality management system, ensuring all laboratory activities adhere to ISO 17025 regulations. Heading up a small team, you will utilise your previous leadership expertise to coordinate daily activities within this expanding fast-paced laboratory.

Other responsibilities will include:

• Act as primary contact for UKAS & maintain the internal audit schedule
• CAPA and non-conformance investigations
• Quality training and inductions
